Street art is the urban equivalent of truffles, and in Copenhagen they are getting still harder to come by. I miss these bursts of creativity so much it hurts, and every time I spot another piece, it picks me right up.
By Regnbuebanden (the rainbow gang).

Lock on piece from Tejn, pulled by this litte guy:

Dannebrog. We're slowly reclaiming our flag after the reign of the evil (un-)Danish People's Party.

The graffiti van. Some say vandalism, others say safety in traffic.
Most of us agree on this one:

Bank$ters.
But it doesn't have to be big, loud or angry to be good. Weird works too.
How do you like them truffles?

More wonderfulness!
ReplyDeleteI love them
ReplyDeleteThose door "buzzers" are often works of gorgeousness in themselves. The colours, handwriting etc. A collection of photos would make a good book. Those cut-out figures are so fine. I´m envious of the idea.
ReplyDeleteI just found a group on Flickr called "doorbell porn". A buzzer collection would make a cool book, actually. Nerds like you and I would buy it, haha.
DeleteHi Sandra, of course we do love them!!! Truffle realness... Warms the heart!
ReplyDeleteAh, I am so glad. :-)
DeleteThere's room for seconds! More, please.
ReplyDeleteHa, tell that to the street artists, I am hungry for more too!
DeleteHej Sandra! This just reminds me that I need another entree of Ville a la Copenhagen with these truffles for desert :) I really miss it! Have a great weekend! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could find more, but it seems that the street artists have gone into hibernation. Spring can't get here soon enough!
DeleteHugs for you too Celena. :-)
Beatifull. Reminds me of fools festival years ago in Copenhagen.
